Youth Golf Program

Golf, Opportunity, Learning, and Fun for the next generation.

Now in its fourth year, the G.O.L.F program was founded by College Hill Foundation’s Executive Director, Fred Kimbrough, to give local kids a safe and enriching way to learn, play, and grow. GOLF stands for “Golf, Opportunity, Learning, and Fun.”

Through lessons on the course and off, students get the chance to:

  • Spend time outdoors learning the fundamentals of golf

  • Take part in field trips that broaden their horizons

  • Participate in academic enrichment days — with this year’s focus on financial literacy and money management

The Youth Golf Program is about more than just the game. It’s about building confidence, creating opportunity, and helping kids develop life skills that will carry them far beyond the fairway.

Each summer, the Foundation and G.O.L.F Program are celebrated and supported through our Annual Golf Tournament, held on the last Tuesday in June. More than just a day on the course, this tournament is our largest fundraiser of the year, bringing together community members, sponsors, and friends who believe in the mission of College Hill Foundation.

Funds raised directly support G.O.L.F as well as our other initiatives, ensuring we can continue to mentor kids, provide enrichment opportunities, and strengthen the neighborhood.
